THE QWD METHOD
A recommendation should show its working.
QWD evaluates the role before the product and labels what has—and has not—been tested.
01 · Name the role
A product is considered only after a real wardrobe gap can be named.
02 · Check the line
Shoulder, sleeve, seat, thigh and trouser break matter before branding.
03 · Read the cloth
Fibre, weight, surface and care must suit the job and climate.
04 · Build three outfits
The item must work with at least three pieces already in a sensible system.
05 · State the compromise
Every choice gives something up: warmth, crispness, care, price or versatility.
06 · Label the evidence
Retailer specifications, product imagery, handling and wear tests are different levels of evidence. QWD says which applies.
07 · Recheck the link
Availability changes. Every shortlist entry carries a visible last-checked date and is removed when the evidence is no longer useful.
