After approximately 25 wears since February 2026, these have proved comfortable, flexible and dependable for work. The long-term verdict applies to this one owned pair in size 33, not every H&M trouser.

Fit observed: In size 33, the overall fit has worked very well. Waist, thigh and length were not measured separately, but no fit problem has emerged across approximately 25 wears.
What worked: The versatile charcoal colour, flexible material, comfort and reliable overall fit have made these an easy repeat-wear work trouser.

RiseThe waistband should sit where the trouser was designed to sit without being dragged lower. A higher rise can lengthen the leg line and give pleats room to fall.
SeatThere should be no horizontal pulling, sagging or pocket flare. Sit, climb a stair and put your hands in the pockets before keeping them.
ThighPleats and creases need room to hang straight. If the crease bends around the thigh, try a fuller cut rather than simply sizing up.
HemJudge the trouser with the shoes you will wear. Unfinished and extra-long hems need alteration cost and timing included in the decision.
